The James Project:
Autism Tools & Learning
Free resources, visual supports, parent-to-parent support, and real-life ideas for families raising neurodivergent children. đź’›

Created from things I've learned, created, adapted, and used while raising my son, James—with the hope that something here may help make everyday life a little easier for another family.
Meet the Heart Behind The James Project đź’›
I'm James' Mom — the person behind The James Project: Autism Tools & Learning.

At the center of everything here is James. He's the reason this space exists and the inspiration behind so much of what I create and share.

What began within our own family has grown into a place where I can connect with other parents and caregivers, share things that may make everyday life a little easier, and create the kind of support I know can mean so much when you're trying to figure things out for your own child.

This space is personal to me. It's built from motherhood, lived experience, a lot of love, and a faith that continues to guide me through every season of our journey.

Most of all, I want families who find their way here to feel welcome. You don't have to have everything figured out, and your child doesn't have to fit into anyone else's box.
I'm glad you're here. đź’›
Support That Meets You Where You Are
There's no single way to support every child or family. The James Project: Autism Tools & Learning brings together different kinds of resources and support so you can explore what may fit your child, your family, and where you are right now. đź’›

Free Tools, Visuals & Activities
A growing collection of free visual supports, communication tools, routines, regulation resources, seasonal and holiday visuals, activities, and more—created and shared for families to use, adapt, and make their own.
Helpful Resources for Families
I also share outside resources I've come across that may be worth knowing about—from safety tools and organizations to support lines, services, programs, and other information that could help families find what they need.

Parent-to-Parent Support
Sometimes you don't need another resource—you just need someone who understands.
Parent-to-parent support is a judgment-free place to talk, brainstorm, ask questions, celebrate progress, or simply connect with another parent who gets it. Your first 30-minute support call is free.
Personalized & Custom Visuals
If one of my existing visuals needs a few changes to better fit your child, I can personalize it. If you need something completely different, you can request a custom visual—or request one free simple visual for your family.
